About the event
Ready to smoke some meat? Register to compete against friends and neighbors in up to 4 categories: 1) Pork Butt; 2) Beef; 3) Ribs; 4) Wild Card (game, chicken, fish, etc.). There is a $50 entry fee per category. Amateur contestants compete for cash prizes of $500 awarded to first place in each category, $250 to second place in each category. First Responders entries will compete for 1) Pork Butt; 2) Beef; 3) Ribs; 4) Wild Card (game, chicken, fish, etc.).
Competitors can arrive as early as noon on Friday, July 8 to set up and begin cooking. Water and lighting will be provided. Electricity will be provided upon request when registering.Security will be on site overnight. Entrants have the option of spending the night on their assigned site location. Each site location will be 18 x 18. Please provide specific requirements when completing registration. ***ALL ENTRIES MUST BE COOKED…
